Now, were down to our 4th artwork of the year.

Not all days are really inspiring, especially if things are not turning out to be what  they are supposed to.
This is the first day of school after the Christmas vacation and it doesn't feel like working yet. But I really don't have that much choice but accept the fact that these things are necessary. The good part is, I was able to make my artwork for today and that would be enough to make things brighter.

Hope you'll like them.

Here's my entry for the day. This is graphite and pen and ink on an acid-free paper with post-its.

Hersley' artwork is about the dizzying world we have. It's because he's still in Christmas vacation mode just like me. This artwork will give you a headache by looking at the many heads around.

No. 3

We're going back to school. Vacation's over. I don't really feel like going back, yet. I'll be dealing about mathematics again. Every time I'm on the class, there's no happy moment. May  this be a good and happy day for me and for everyone.
At least I'll be posting our third artwork today. That makes me feel better and makes me forget all the negative energy that I have.

Here's mine. Graphite/colored pencil on acid-free paper

And here is Hersley's mixed media on acid-free paper

The 365 DAYS Project

Hi.  Year 2010 just start and my boyfriend had this idea of making an artwork everyday inspired from the movie Julie and Julia. It's like an artwork a day. It's a good concept so I asked him if I could also make same kind of project. He said ok. I named my project Hersley's 365 Project Twin. Hersley is the name of my boyfriend and I think he deserves to be in the title for this great idea of his.

He is a great artist and already know what a visual art is. While me on the other side is still on my exploring  stage. I'll be posting an artwork a day and I'll also include Hersley's masterpiece of the day.

Bare with me that I can make it until December 31. Because just like Julie in the movie, most of the things I started were mostly not finished. This would be a big achievement for me if I could make 365 artworks or more by the last day of the year 2010.

Hope you check it.!!!

Now for the starter.

Here's my graphite drawing from my notepad that I made during a stay in our friend's house. Hersley and I spent our new year in our friend Katrina Callao and family's house. We had the movie CLOUDY WITH THE CHANCE OF A MEATBALL before we slept and I was one of the early riser. Since everyone still asleep I made this drawing in my notepad.

Hersley's artwork dedicated for the New Year 2010. This is made up of pieces of newspaper used in making firecrackers. After we left our friend's house we walked in this lonely street of Meciano rd and picked up pieces of paper from firecrackers leftovers.
This is a 9x12 inches mixed media.
